//Speciality Chemicals Magazine Portfolio 2009/10
As part of our on-going strategy to deliver quality, customer-led products to the global fine and speciality chemicals marketplace, this autumn will see a major development to the portfolio.
Notably, Speciality Chemicals Magazine, first published over 25 years ago, will increase from 10 issues to 12 issues per year, 6 of which will be delivered as an online issue, commencing with the October 2009 issue.
The bi-monthly printed issues of the magazine will continue to uphold a high quality mix of business and technology-based editorial on the application of organic chemistry across a wide range of industries whilst still being allied to key industry events throughout the industry show calendar. Print issues will continue to be available in digital format through our ‘turn-page’ technology partner.
The online version of Speciality Chemicals Magazine has been introduced to the portfolio as a response to reader requirements. In line with general media trends, requests for online issues of the magazine have grown considerably this year. The advent of the online version will offer a greater speed of delivery and therefore be more in tune with the current trend of information provision.
Online issues will be less technical in their approach and will not support chemistry diagrams, the focus will instead be on immediate business, market and legislation feature articles which will fall into four regular categories: Fine Chemicals, Speciality Chemicals, Environment & Legislation and Chemistry Corner. Online issues will be delivered via email with full news, editorial and feature content available on www.specchemonline.com
In addition, July saw the launch of Speciality Chemicals Focus, a new monthly email newsletter bringing readers the latest innovations in products and services for the fine and speciality chemicals industry worldwide. From logistical services to process equipment and new product launches, Speciality Chemicals Focus will keep readers up to date with essential new developments in the market.
For our advertisers, the new look portfolio offers an attractive mix of print and online options. Advertisers will benefit from having a greater choice and flexibility when executing their advertising strategies. Printed issues will still offer the traditional route to market and bonus distribution at key industry events, whilst the online version will be available to a larger number of subscribers and will offer all the benefits of online advertising such as rich media content, fast delivery, immediate website traffic and instant prospect leads.
We hope that you will enjoy the new look Speciality Chemicals Magazine portfolio.
