Taking place at the NEC, Birmingham, from 16 – 19 November, the International Materials Handling Exhibition (IMHX) is the undisputed leader in UK logistics events, ably demonstrated by the fact that exhibitor space at the show is over 70% sold already. With the event co-owned by BITA (British Industrial Truck Association), IMHX has always had a large core of support from the manual handling sector but the show has also attracted increasing numbers of automated handling exhibitors, as well as software providers and consultancy firms.
The new show dates of 16-19 November 2010 for the International Materials Handling Exhibition (IMHX) have been warmly welcomed by exhibitors and key industry bodies.
Organisers Quartz Publishing & Exhibitions Ltd polled all the show’s exhibitors about whether to move IMHX from March to November next year in view of the economic downturn. The overwhelming majority of exhibitors voted for the move and the new show dates of 16-19 November 2010 have been warmly welcomed by the materials handling industry.
New international competition to be launched.
The Guinness Book of World Records and The Federation of Window Cleaners, (formerly known as The National Federation of Master Window & General Cleaners), have announced the launch of ‘The Fastest Window Cleaner on the Planet’ competition.
Following the resounding success of the International Materials Handling Exhibition (IMHX) in March this year, plans for the next show in 2010 are already in place.
With a record 19,223 visitors at this year’s event at the NEC, Birmingham, many of the 350+ exhibitors have rebooked and organiser Quartz is delighted that the show is already 45% sold.
