Sustainable Industrial Manufacturing

The European Green Deal commits the EU to carbon neutrality by 2050 and policymakers want industry to ‘pave the way’ with a transition towards net zero emissions for a cleaner, healthier future.

Hosting leaders from the worlds of industry, innovation, science, government and investment, Sustainable Industrial Manufacturing Europe (SIM) in Belgium will provide an opportunity for those at the frontier of cleaner industrial manufacturing to present sustainable solutions to business leaders from across five hard-to-abate sectors.

A series of regional exhibitions and conferences that can support and facilitate the transition towards cleaner manufacturing around the world. No other event in the world is bringing together senior executives from hard-to-abate industries to work together, across sectors, and along the supply chain.

It's important. Heavy industry is responsible for 30% of carbon emissions and an industry transition towards net zero is vital to limit global warming to 2°C by 2050. Government targets and regulations mean those in charge must accelerate and embrace sustainable technologies to future-proof the competitiveness and viability of their organisations.

And we're passionate about manufacturing. The team behind SIM has been delivering events for the glass, steel and aluminium industries for 40 years. With a global audience of 85,000 manufacturing professionals around the world, we are excited to bring our customers together at SIM Europe.
