From Santiago to Istanbul, and London to Dubai, our teams are always on the ground making ideas happen. With 20 live events in 11 countries, 10 media titles, and a growing global audience, here’s a glimpse at what 2025 looked like for the team.
We began 2025 with a sharp focus on strategy with our Company Conference in Madrid, where our Managing Director, Tony Crinion, reflected on our 2024 wins and outlined ambitious goals for 2025.
February saw us deliver two major events on opposite sides of the globe: Glassman Asia in Bangkok and World Shisha Events Dubai, both earning positive feedback and strong attendance.
In March, The Cleaning Show at Excel London welcomed over 8,000 visitors, showcasing the best in cleaning, hygiene, and sustainability.
We’ve continued to grow our editorial reach, with our media titles – from Aluminium International Today to Oils & Fats International – delivering timely insight and thought leadership.
Internally, we welcomed new team members, launched new initiatives, and continued building a culture rooted in creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
In February, we were shortlisted for two categories at the Exhibition News Awards 2025: Employer of the Year for Quartz, and Content Programme of the Year for Elevate. In May, we were equally proud to be shortlisted for Independent Organiser of the Year 2025 at the AEO Excellence Awards - a celebration of innovation, resilience, and excellence across the events industry.
While we didn’t take home a trophy on those occasions, being recognised among the industry’s best is an achievement in itself – and a reflection of the passion, expertise, and teamwork that defines Quartz.
In June, while the team was in Dubai for our World Vape Show, we were delighted to win Best Trade Show at the Vapouround Global Awards 2025. This was a huge testament to the outstanding work the teams do and demonstrates how we pride ourselves on delivering shows which not only facilitate an industry but are active participants in the Industry – helping to foster best practise and drive Industries forward in a positive way.

A Culture that Grows with You
Under our Managing Director’s guidance and with the support of our People Manager, our team continues to grow. So far this year, we’ve welcomed three new members of the team, with a milestone of us reaching a headcount of over 50 people.
It’s important to us to foster a culture of innovation, flexibility, and recognition. 46% of our team has been with us for 5 years or more, and 7 have surpassed the 20-year mark. We’re passionate about retaining and developing our team from within, as well as attracting new emerging talent within the industry.
Chloe Wade (our People Manager) shared her thoughts on what makes the Quartz culture unique:

As we reach the mid-point of the year, it’s clear that 2025 is shaping up to be one of our strongest yet. We’ve seen increased attendance, stronger client engagement, and rising global visibility across both our events and editorial platforms. But just as importantly, we’ve navigated challenges with flexibility and resolve – whether responding to shifting market demands or reimagining event formats for new audiences.
We have a lot of potential ahead! New launches, expanding sectors, and sharper digital focus mean we’re not just keeping pace with change – we’re helping lead it. With purpose and a strong team behind us, we’re ready for more.
