From award nominations and thought leadership to global events and team recognition, February was packed with proud moments at Quartz. We celebrated major shortlistings at the Exhibition News Awards, joined International Confex, hosted standout shows in Bangkok and Dubai, and continued to spotlight the brilliant people behind our success.
We celebrated International Women’s Day, delivered a record-breaking Cleaning Show at ExCeL London, and connected with global industry leaders at TMS Las Vegas. With exciting roles now open and major international events on the horizon, 2025 is shaping up to be a big year
April was a busy and inspiring month at Quartz! From attending events in Venice and Cologne to team celebrations, new hires, and wellbeing initiatives, we wrapped up the month with fresh ideas and great momentum heading into May.
May was a busy and successful month for Quartz, with major events delivered in Geneva, Istanbul, and Santiago, connecting global industry leaders across multiple sectors. We were also proud to be finalists for Independent Organiser of the Year at the 2025 AEO Excellence Awards — a fantastic recognition of our team’s hard work.
June was a month of global engagement and exciting milestones for Quartz. From hosting and attending key industry events in St Helens, London, Dubai, and Barcelona to supporting Men’s Health Week and celebrating award wins, our teams continued to drive innovation, connection, and impact across multiple sectors.
July 2025 was a month of connection, creativity, and celebration at Quartz. We welcomed a new team member, continued our “Meet the Team” campaign, took on a Taskmaster-style summer social, and attended key industry events — all while gearing up for a busy and exciting events calendar ahead.
August was a month full of innovation, teamwork, and milestones at Quartz. From sharing industry insights at EN Launch Club, to launching our brand-new Behind the Launch series, celebrating team wins, and opening exciting new roles — it’s been a busy and rewarding month across the business
September was a month of energy, travel, and teamwork for the Quartz team. From representing our brands at global industry events — including the launch of Elevate India — to celebrating charity initiatives and welcoming new team members, it’s been a month full of connection, collaboration, and exciting milestones.
December was a month of celebration, achievement, and community spirit at Quartz. From volunteering at the heartwarming One Day at Christmas initiative to winning ‘Best Social Media Campaign’ at the EN Marketing Awards and wrapping up the year with our festive team social, we closed 2024 on a high.
November saw our largest-ever World Tobacco Events Middle East in Dubai with 11,000+ attendees. We marked Stress Awareness Week and International Men’s Day, we attended a few industry engagements and celebrated being finalists for Best Social Media Campaign at the EN Marketing & Summit Awards. We also welcomed Vanessa Goddess as Marketing Manager and are hiring for exciting new roles!
October was a month of growth and achievement, with new team members joining and successful events like World Tobacco, Asia in Surabaya. We celebrated wins including the World Vape Show earning ‘Best Trade Show’ at the Global Vapouround Awards, and Lucy Findlay-Beale receiving high commendation at the Indy Awards 2024.
Our September newsletter highlights an exciting month filled with charitable initiatives, industry events, and recognitions. We’ve pledged support for One Day at Christmas 2024, expanded connections at the UK Metals Expo and OFI International, and celebrated being shortlisted for Employer of the Year at the EN Indy Awards 2024. Additionally, our team raised £140.88 for MacMillan Cancer Support during our coffee morning.
In August, we hosted a fun Summer Sports Day, celebrated industry success at the EN Supplier Awards, and held a social media workshop to empower our team. We're also hiring for marketing roles and looking forward to upcoming events in Rotterdam and Surabaya this September!
We kicked off with the Ops Nest Summer Party in London, celebrated Disability Pride Month, and explored new opportunities at the Hilton Showcase Event. We’re also excited to be expanding our team, with new roles available for talented individuals looking to join our award-winning company.
One of our busiest months of the year as teams flew around the world to stage the Future Steel Forum in Stockholm; the World Vape Show in Dubai; and Elevate at ExCeL London. Plus plenty of celebrations to support Global Exhibitions Day 2024, Pride Month, Men's Mental Health Awareness Month and the Women in Exhibitions Summer Party.
Chloe and Sameer waved the Quartz flag at the Reigate College Careers Fair to promote our internship programme, and we were thrilled that The Manchester Cleaning Show was shortlisted for Best UK Tradeshow at the AEO Excellence Awards 2024. May events included Glassman Latin America in Mexico City, WT Africa in Zimbabwe and Future Aluminium Forum in Istanbul.
We're thrilled that Nadine Bloxsome and Zahra Awan were selected as judges for Women With Metal – The Aluminium Awards 2024; find out more about the "Quartz Charity Challenge," that raised £430 for Age Concern to support our local community; and another successful launch event with our World Vape Show team heading to Poland to stage an intimate 'Meet the Buyer' event in Warsaw.
March was filled with significant achievements! The World Vape Show in Paraguay saw a 63% increase in visitors and the Manchester Cleaning Show set new records with 85 exhibitors and 2,558 attendees. We joined the UK Chapter of Women in Exhibitions Network, gained recognition as an official provider of CPD accreditation, and won Employer of the Year 2024 at the Exhibition News Awards!
